Telangana has partnered with Google to establish the Google Safety Engineering Centre (GSEC) in Hyderabad, which marks India’s first GSEC and the fifth globally. The centre’s focus is on enhancing security and online safety products for the Indian market.

Hyderabad is selected as the site for the GSEC, followed by centres in Tokyo, Dublin, Munich, and Malaga. This location marks Hyderabad’s reputation as a leading IT hub in Asia.
